For ATE test heads and mid-bus probing applications, Tyco Electronics line of PRECISION INTERCONNECT Spring Pin assemblies provides high bandwidth and durable probing solutions.

In addition to the traditional coaxial spring pin assemblies, Tyco Electronics has developed a non-coaxial spring pin solution which performs nearly as well as the more expensive coaxial spring pin assemblies. The non-coaxial solution offers the advantages of lower cost and finer probing pitch (as low as 1.0 mm).

Tyco Electronics designs and manufactures high speed coaxial cable in a variety of dielectric materials and wire sizes. Cable designs have been optimized for use in the ATE environment. Low attenuation dielectrics and advanced processes allow the tight impedance control required for multi-GHz probing. Cable flexibility permits maximum maneuverability in hand held probing applications and ease of routing and movement in automated test heads.
